Problems of Islamic Reform: Nigeria, Egypt and the United States
Sarah Eltantawi is an intellectual historian of contemporary Islam focused on political Islam and Islamic law. Her work so far has concentrated on Nigeria and Egypt. She is also an political analyst who comments in international media outlets on issues concerning the Muslim-majority world and geo-politics.

Dr. Eltantawi holds a PhD in the Study of Religion from Harvard University (2012). She is Associate Professor of Modern Islam in the Department of Theology at Fordham University in New York.
