32:19
Thank you Katie.
Avery Wheeler
32:28
Thank you!!
Jennifer Schmidt
32:55
If you set Video on or off when scheduling, can you still switch it in the actual meeting?
Katie Kilroy
33:52
Yes that is just the default on how the meeting starts. Participants can turn on their own video after the meeting starts.
nswanson
34:29
what advantages do you have when you have a co-host?
Trina Rodriguez
34:49
They can make changes to the settings.
Trina Rodriguez
36:22
It also allows you to start recording and host the meeting if the host drops.
Jennifer Schmidt
36:23
Is there a way to make the speaker window slightly bigger or more prominent than the others, while still seeing the slides/screen share/etc.?
Katie Kilroy
37:14
There should be a line that appears between the two views when you hover over it that allows you to slide it left to right to resize
Jennifer Schmidt
37:49
That will change it for only me I'm guessing? Is there a way to change it for all participants?
Katie Kilroy
38:07
No - the view is controlled by each user
es234
38:21
Is there a possibility Zoom will be phi approved in the future?
Katie Kilroy
38:53
Hi Es234 - sorry we don’t know the answer to that one!
nswanson
39:43
can you edit recordings?
Trina Rodriguez
40:08
Yes you can.
Trina Rodriguez
40:26
You can edit it some in Zoom. You can also download it to Warpwire and edit it as well.
Duke Catholic
45:12
Can you add zoom outside the web based view of outlook?
Jessica Pritchard
46:02
Does Zoom integrate with Jabber?
Avery Wheeler
46:31
Can you make it so your name doesn’t appear?
Susan Fitzgerald
46:40
Will I be able to read the chat transcript afterwards?
Angela Crews
46:44
If you need to change a date and time of the zoom meeting can i just change the date and time in the calendar in Outlook or do i need to change the date and time in the actual Zoom scheduler?
df119
46:48
can you use zoom to just record telephone meetings/conversations
Jennifer Schmidt
46:49
Is the end time firm? So you need to schedule a meeting longer if you think it might run long? Or does it let you stay in the meeting after the end time if talk is still going on?
Jocelyn Pietro
47:12
You said that you can only schedule one meeting per account. If someone gives you scheduling permissions would you be allowed to have a meeting per each person you schedule for?
Katie Kilroy
47:25
Yes!
Deanna Allen
48:00
how do we access the zoom document?
Debbie
49:06
zoom can be accessed from any device correct? Phone, laptop, tablet, etc.
Duke Catholic
49:44
could you briefly describe some of the interface changes, e.g. video grids, etc...
Katie Kilroy
50:12
Jocelyn - yes you can schedule for multiple people each using their own Zoom. We do recommend using their calendar for that as a delegate.
Susan Fitzgerald
50:13
Is there a particular browser that this works best with?
Katie Kilroy
50:28
Susan - we haven’t had a problem with any browser so far!
Trina Rodriguez
50:36
Jennifer. No the end time is not firm.
snowicki
51:01
can you repeat how to add the Zoom add-in for Outlook?
mm766
51:07
If meetings are scheduled from Outlook, would invitees still get a calendar invite if they have a different calendar client?
Kate Miller
51:29
what is the advantage of using client vs. a browser?
Jodi Russell
51:40
will there be a tutorial to host a meeting? I jave had no luck "inviting" participants.
Emily Dysart
52:02
I would like to echo snowicki to repeat how to add Zoom to Outlook, please. Thanks!
Katie Kilroy
52:20
Mm766 - yes
Jennifer Schmidt
52:25
If you schedule many meetings for someone on a daily basis, would it be a good plan to just have a daily meeting with a personal id that lasts all day and has waiting rooms so people coming in can be controlled, or is this a bad plan for some reason?
Cynthia Clinton
53:26
Would you repeat the site for the Zoom tutorial. Thanks

Emily Dysart
54:19
I figured out how to add the Zoom add-on in Outlook.
Katie Kilroy
54:32
Jennifer - that is a good plan!
Katie Kilroy
54:43
I almost exclusively use my personal meeting ID only.
John Carbuccia
56:40
Do you know if there’s a plugin/add-in for Apple Mail?
Emily Dysart
57:05
For personal meeting ID, under my profile setting, I can use my work phone number, correct?
John Carbuccia
57:31
Have you covered Breakout Rooms?
Katie Kilroy
57:47
Emily yes that is what I do!
Emily Dysart
58:02
Great! Thank you Katie!
Jocelyn Pietro
58:04
I just tried going to duke.zoom.us and clicked Sign In to configure account -- It is saying something went wrong, do I need to put in a ticket to OIT?
Jennifer Schmidt
58:09
Can you change your personal meeting ID # in the future?
Katie Kilroy
58:24
Jennifer - yes you can
Katie Kilroy
58:54
Jocelyn yes please open a ticket with your IT support desk
John Carbuccia
59:20
How come we don’t see Polling/Breakout Rooms if you’ve enabled it already on your account?
Katie Kilroy
59:50
Hi John - This meeting is actually hosted on Trina’s account not Debbies.
Jodi Russell
59:53
How you HOST a meeting and add participants?
Susan M. Kauffman
59:56
Where is the raised hand option?
John Carbuccia
01:00:17
To view Raise Hand option you need to show Participants
Katie Kilroy
01:00:52
Raise hand is part of ‘non-verbal’ feedback setting
Susan M. Kauffman
01:01:05
Thank you!
Katie Kilroy
01:01:09
Once enabled, yes it is visible in the participant panel
John Carbuccia
01:01:46
I thought Debbie had hers enabled but I don’t see polling nor breakout rooms anywhere on her screen or my screen
Jennifer Schmidt
01:03:53
My understanding is that limiting a meeting to authenticated users does not currently limit it to Duke. Is that correct? If so, is there a plan to be able to limit meetings/talks to Duke?
nswanson
01:04:32
Can we view some previous recordings that use some of the advanced features like breakout rooms? If so, where could we find them? They would be great examples of what zoom can do...
Jodi Russell
01:05:14
I have to HOST a meeting on Monday with 10 faculty. I need some help please.
Katie Kilroy
01:05:38
nSwanson - here is a great resource for breakout rooms: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/206476313-Managing-Breakout-Rooms
Angela Crews
01:07:19
Thanks, this was great :)

Please do not use PHI in Zoom
jmc168
01:08:08
That's what I thought- Thanks
William Ignelzi
01:08:08
Can attendees (not the host) share their screen, if so, how?
Katie Kilroy
01:08:20
Yes!
jdfrench
01:09:02
Can you show us in practice how a powerpoint can be worked into a session; how do you switch to the powerpoint and back to powerpoint
Susan M. Kauffman
01:09:58
How are Duke students learning Zoom or do they already know it?
Emily Dysart
01:11:38
I know Trina said there would be more training on Zoom next week, where can that schedule be found again?
John Carbuccia
01:12:03
Training schedules can be found at https://keepworking.duke.edu/webinars
Emily Dysart
01:12:20
THANK YOU John!
Katie Kilroy
01:12:39
Hi Susan - most of the time - participants just can use Zoom without training. But we do recommend a ‘housekeeping’ discussion at the beginning to get everyone one the same page on how to ask questions and do discussions
Trina Rodriguez
01:13:16
There will be a new schedule for next week posted soon.
John Carbuccia
01:14:53
I have another meeting to head to - enjoy everyone.
Trina Rodriguez
01:17:02
