Hey, Beth, do we know whether in-person courses will be an option in winter 2022?

Do we get a confirmation that our Course proposal has been received?

But we are not even on campus. I strongly suggest that you do a survey of OLLI students to see what they want to do--Zoom or in person?

I sincerely hope that some courses are available virtually for those of us who have joined in who do not live in NC.

Virginia, historically, some courses have been taught in the Bishop's House on Duke's East Campus.

Hi, I am new to the team. FYI, I am not a Duke graduate and live in Iowa and discovered the OLLI program through a friend teaching for the program. So, Zoom is reaching new audiences. I have taught online before but not with Zoom. Looking forward to working with everyone.

I have to cut out for another meeting but wanted to thank you all. We are truly lucky to have such extraordinary instructors. There is a lot of great content out there but OLLI does not take second place to any of it.

Have either of our presenters ever worked with other interactive methods such as Nearpod or whiteboards, etc.?

Zoom provides access to Duke OLLI programs. Access is for what every institution is striving. How can we provide more communities access to zoom classes? This is a question for OLLI leadership to ponder.

Ive discovered that you can annotate directly on the screen, which is most of what I had used whiteboards for in the past

My advice for new instructors are to keep the first course as simple as possible & build from there…

On continuing to be on ZOOM - even those of us who can be mobile and who are looking for in-person learning activities may want to stay in our pajamas and remain shoeless on ZOOM.
