27:19
I have a quesiton

27:24
Thank you!

29:38
are undergraduate thesis relevant for that section or is mostly graduate work"

33:43
I have a question

33:57
The are of "Humble confidence"!

34:57
I have a question about student clinical experience as well

34:59
I have a question about that!

36:11
Acute care?

39:06
Can you give an example of portfolio items?

39:08
Duke students can access PEBBLE PAD for free to build your electronic portfolio!

40:05
As a new grad how necessary is a portfolio when applying?

40:27
Hmmm..confused - Arent those portfolio items already on our resume?

43:00
Electronic portfolios are like a piece of art...shows your individual personalities.

43:25
Portfolio is a nice to have...not necessary for applying for a job!

44:28
Not related- I am trying to separate acute care and ambulatory care as the example shows. Which should go in which categories, I feel like most is acute …?

44:41
I feel like portfolio’s are something you deliver when you interview not necessarily a piece you include in your job application since recruiters/HR/managers only spend 2-3 minutes per application. Once you have the interview I think you can use the portfolio to elaborate more in-depth of your experiences and the accomplishments you’ve added to your brag book.

45:56
@Euince: a lot of our wellness experiences, gero experiences, and opportunities you participated in outside of the hospital could fall into ambulatory/ outpatient hours

46:21
Great points Aqdas. Also, thank you!!

46:29
:)

47:29
I am a bit confused at what Health Assessment all entails. Was that 1st semester clinicals?? so acute?

47:50
I have a question but I’m not sure if it actually applies to this or not!

47:53
Acute care

48:01
great thank you Dr. Malloy!~

48:19
@Eunice, yes 1st semester is a branch off of medsurg so that falls into acute care since we are in the hospital working with acutely ill patients

48:50
Thanks again Aqdas… so helpful!!

51:02
A digital portfolio can also be displayed on your LinkedIn profile!

53:01
If I have an expired CNA license, should I still list it on my resume? (It was in another state)

53:20
Are resumes still limited to one page one side? How do you fit all the experience over an entire career?

54:29
Recruiter today said that the hiring manager devoted 2-3 minutes for an initial resume review so keep that in mind with the length of your resume!

54:56
did we go over the smallest font we should use?

57:20
Thank you!

01:03:20
Example to save as...M. Molloy_Resume_2020

01:05:43

01:05:50

01:08:05
